Description:Rambutan trees widely planted as a fruit, is sometimes found growing wild. These tropical plants require a humid climate with annual rainfall of at least 2,000 mm. Rambutan is a lowland plant, to a height of 300-600 m above sea level. 15-25 m high tree with many branches it has. Pinnate compound leaves alternate location, with leaflets 2-4 pairs. PART USED Plant part used is the skin of the fruit, bark, leaves, seeds, and roots. INDICATION Fruit skin is used to overcome: dysentery, fever. Bark is used to address: oral thrush. Leaves used to treat diarrhea, black hair. The roots are used to overcome: a fever. Seeds used to treat: diabetes (diabetes mellitus). HOW TO USE For drugs taken, there is no dosage recommendation. See examples of usage. For external use only, minced leaves until smooth, then add a little water. Use of water for the feelings of graying black hair. EXAMPLE OF USE: Wash skin Dysentery rambutan fruit (10 pieces), cut into pieces as needed. Add three cups of clean drinking water, and boil until the water remaining half.
